I am having trouble with the woodwick candles I have made.
I have tried 100% soy wax with 1oz of scent per 1lb of wax.
The problem: The Woodwick burns out, trimmed wick several times. The wick burns strong until it reaches the wax, then burns out. I tried to carve out the wax to give the wick a little more room to burn and the same think keeps happening. The woodwick burns to the wax and slowly burns out. I even tried to drip a little wax on the wick while lit. This helps the wick burn a little longer but only keeps burning while I am dripping wax.
I am now trying a 50/50 paraffin, soy wax combination. I hope I have better luck this time.
Any advise will be greatly appreciated, I am fairly new to soy wax, and very new to Woodwicks! What a pain in the $%%^%
Thanks.
