Hello,
I'm new to soy candle making. I made five soy container candles last night and they looked perfect until this morning. When I woke up the color of the candles (beige) looks striped some places in the jar are darker while other places and lighter. I have tried searching all over the internet but can't seem to figure out why this happened. I heated the wax in a Presto Kitchen Kettle to 130-140 degrees I then added a couple of small chunks off my color block and added the scent. I then turned off the heat and let the wax cool until it started to set up on the sides of the Kettle. I then took the wax transfered it to my pouring pitcher and poured it into my jars. Any help will be appreciated.

Gracias....
Striped color
Your color is not mixing completely. I mix color and FO at 185 degrees and mix it for 2 minutes before dropping the temperature. I know one time as an experiment I added some color in my containers after pouring at a lower temp and I got this same striping. I did get the effect I wanted at the time as I was looking for the look of water.

What kind of wax are you
What kind of wax are you using? It may be that the temp is too low. I use 464 and Ecosoya Advanced and those are heated to higher temps that what you are heating to. Depending on what type of wax you use that will determine the heating temp and pour temp. Both of the waxes I use I pour at 125.
