White Grainy Texture After My Candle Cools

I started making candles about a month ago. The first 5 candles that I made came out perfect. But since then I keep getting this grainy texture at the top of my candles when they have cooled. I haven't changed anything. I am still using the same box of wax that I started with and I do everything exactly the same. The candles smell good while burning and in general the candle looks good all but the very top. I don't know what else to try. I tried pouring at a cooler temp and it still does it. Can anyone help me.

I had this problem when I started making soy candles. Try pouring at a lower temperature. This has pretty much eliminated the problem for me. Good luck!

Not working great...

I am having the same grainy texture problem. Its not bad but sometimes i'm just not crazy about the appearance. Even with a hair blower I find its not perfect. Is there any other suggestions out there for making the top smooth and perfect!

I had the same trouble and found that if you take a hair dryer or heat gun on low, just enough to melt the top and let cool again it smoothes it out. A little tedious but it does happen. Have fun.
