Hi,

Thanks for your email and your visit! I have never added any beeswax to soy wax to obtain a higher concentration of fragrance oil. I have added vybar in the past to soy in an attempt to harden it up a bit, but it made the wax crumble. Most additives should be safe for tarts since they are not getting burned. Combusting petrol based additives could throw some unwanteds in the air. I'll look around and see what I can come up with.
