Hi everyone!
This post is a result of an email I recieved this morning. A beginning candle maker asked if she could use a cupcake pan as a tart mold.
Great idea... I have never tried it myself but I don't see why it would not work. In fact, if there is a slight taper in your cupcake pan, you could also use this as a floative mold.
More than likely you will need to add the pan to the freezer for a few minutes to help with the release process.
If anyone else has tried this, please let us know!
Thanks again!

Tart molds in cupcake pan!

Some of my pillar molds are made from PVC piping from Home Depot!
Good luck with your molds!!

Cup Cake Molds For Tarts
I went to a salvation army and picked up all of my beginner candle molds and pots for making double boilers. I used the cup cake mold for tarts and candles! They work nicely!
These pans aren't teflon but they never stick and there is never a need to refridgerate. I am thiking of looking around at menards in the plumbing section to make my own molds...that should be interesting..LOL
