Hi Everyone!
I have gotten quite a few requests from people asking which wax to use or if a certian wax is better than the other.
I must say,... there are quite a few different soy waxes out there to keep track of.
If you are happy or unhappy with a wax you have recently tried, please share your information here with the other members.
Thanks again for everyone's input!

Soy Wax Reviews
I have to agree with the other ladies that NV soy wax is amazing and have had no problems with it! The scents and other products the company offers are equally great!!

Best Wax to use
As a soy candle manufacturer we have throughly tested every soy wax conceivable. There are a few to avoid but I am not into giving bad publisty. I have found that cargill C-3 to be about the best wax for producing soy candles. It is also important to mention to test wicks throughly. Bad wicks make bad candles.

I use NV'Soy from Candle Wealth! 100% Natural! And the BEST!
NV'Soy wax from Candle Wealth is awesome!!!!
I have had no major problems with this wax, I use a bunch of fragrance too, I triple scent most of my candles. They say use 1/2 oz. to 1 oz. per pound, and let me tell they smell good hot or cold! I have a few of the first candles I made with their wax still left (at least 7 months old) and they smell as good and look as good as the most recent batch I made.
I have had a few frost at the top, but I just hit them with the blow dryer and melt the top a bit and the white frost is gone!
Best wishes,
Marline

nice soy wax
The wax I use is called NV Soy. it is only available through candlewealth international, and so far I am very happy with it. It is priced at wht seems to be a fairly standard market price for a high quality 100% Soy wax.

Soy Wax Reviews
I have used a few different types but am currently very happy with one called C3 Container blend made by Cargill
My understanding is that my local supplier ( McHenry ILL ) is the only midwest distributor of this particular wax. EM me for info unless it is ok to post here (don't know all the rules of this board just yet).
It is a "premium" soy and runs about 49.00 / 50lb box - the Eco Soy I used to use was less but I was not as happy with it and needed to add Beeswax to every batch.
This was has far less frosting - clings pretty well (though occasional wet spots) and burns great.
PS - I have recently started experimenting with the addition of Crisco -ie: solidified Soybean / Cottonseed Oil which requires a separate post of it's own for discussion purposes.

Soy Wax Reviews
Hi, I have used KY 125 from KY Candle Supply...I liked it but was looking for a smoother wax. Currently am trying Yaley soy, because it is close to me and I can pick up. Its very smooth and creamy, but will not stick to the side of the jars no matter what I do. So its not working really well in containers either. I used additives which make it cling to the jar a little better, but still not great.
Overall, I have decided that KY Soy is better of the two.
