> Hello- I was so happy to find your website!! I JUST started making candles (like, 2 days ago). I'm using ecosoya flake wax and glass containers. The containers are about 5 inches x 5 inches square and are heavy clear glass. My first candle turned out great. It was a tiny bit concave around the wick but I just poured a thin layer and it was fine. My next couple candles are having more problems. They are not adhearing to the glass. The second pour is also producing bubbles. It this a temperature problem? I'm using the same containers and the same wax and fragrance. Any help / suggestions would be great.

Hi Naomi!
Thanks for your visit and your email!
Wax tends to shrink when it cools. The hotter the wax, the more it will shrink when it cools to room temperature. Short answer is probably... let your wax cool a bit before pouring it. Some wax acts a little different when it comes to adhesion, but for the most part, it is better to pour after the wax cools a bit.
Thanks, and I hope this helps a bit!
