Hi!

Thanks for your email! Pits in the top of container candles can be caused by a couple things... mostly it has to do with the temperature at which the wax is poured. As wax cools, it shrinks, and the hotter the wax is, the more it will shrink as it comes down to room temperature. Try letting your wax cool a bit before pouring next time. In the meantime, you may take a hair dryer or heat gun and melt the tops of the containers. The melted wax will fill in the sink holes and get the top a smooth look.
