I poured my melted soy wax into a metal container (to make votives.) The candle will not come out of the mold. How do I get it out of the mold? How long do I wait to try this? Also how soon can you start burning the candles after they are made?

Hi Peggy,
Thanks for your visit and your email! I am happy to see another beginner in the hobby! I think a few people got candle making kits for Christmas!!
If your candle is in a votive mold with a wick in it, try putting it in the freezer for a few minutes. The waz should shrink a bit and pull away from the sides. Good luck, and if you get the notion to take a picture of your 1st candle, send me a pic!
Thanks again,
