Soy Wax Candle Forum - Online resource for soy candle makers

I just started making 4oz tin container soy candles. I bought the HTP-052 container cotton wick that Wholesale Supplies Plus recommends for their 4oz tin containers. The big problem is there is not a large enough burn pool, it just makes a hole in the candle and does not burn evenly to the edge and some candles the wick goes out, (think it's too think) any recommendations on a natural wick, think I need wider but not sure what wick size to go with and don't want to waste more hard earned money either (they charge a 20% re-stocking fee on returns:9(
