Hello! I'm new here and I've read lots of stuff listed and I'm shooting my question out there in hopes of an answer!!! TIA!
I've been making soy candles for a few months, and I was using Cargill C-3 wax. Liked it well enough to continue using it, and then I found a cheaper soy wax that had great feedback. Celestial Soy Wax. Well, I poured a batch today, and they are HORRIBLE!!!!! The tops are flakey and slushy looking... it looks like they have tiny grains sitting in them. I've tried "fixing" them like I would the candles that I poured with the Cargill, and it still doesn't do right. They are hideous, hideous, hideous!!! I always try to pour "cooler" b/c I have better luck with pouring cooler wax, and the temperature in my house isn't anything unusual. It's a nice temp. I don't know what the deal is .... any suggestions and help would be greatly appreciated.
Has anyone used the Celestial Soy Wax? Any feedback on it??
Thanks!!!
