Soy Wax Candle Forum - Online resource for soy candle makers

Hi,

I am extremely new at soy candle making. I find it to be fun. I have all the problems that others are posting. I guess that means that I am doing everything wrong.

How do you know what the correct wick would be? What are all those #'s associated with them. HTP-###, ##-##-##. Cotton or Zinc? What do they mean?

I am having trouble with white lines running thru my candles after they have been burned.

The wick smokes and mushrooms.

Not enough scent throw.

Sometimes they simply look like crap!

I am buying my products thru Nu-Scent? Does anyone know if this is a good vendor to buy from?
