Soy Wax Candle Forum - Online resource for soy candle makers

Hey,

I'm new to soy candles and ordered some ky pure soy and some eco wicks with some scents from save on scents and pourette that I already use for making lye soaps. I plan on pouring into 16 oz. ball jars using the average 1oz per 1b ratio, I'm hoping that all goes good with scent throw with this combination, as I ordered some pure soy & zinc wicks from natures garden and they didn't work well with the canning jars, smelled real chemically....
I was wondering if anyone here has used the ky pure soy with the eco or Htp 105 wicks in combo with the save on scents or pourette oils and could give me any advice on to use vybar or not, and what temp to heat & pour at.... any advice much appreciated. Need any advice on batching up some soap, I can help out!!
