Yes... that's what I consider mottling. In a container, you should only see that on the top of the candle if at all. To overcome this, you can try pouring at different temperatures.
If you don't have the time to wait for the temp of your wax to come down, go ahead and pour it. You can always use a hair dryer or heat gun to melt the top of the candle afterwards. After doing this, the top of your candle will be smooth.
