I really don't know what I am doing wrong.
I used
-Ecosoya CB Advanced (1 lb)
-Simple Soywick 2
- 1 to 1.5 oz fragrance oil per 1 lb of soy wax
- 2 drops of liquid dye
- 3 inch diameter tumbler (11 oz but I only fill with 10 oz of liquid)
(I purchased everything online from www.WholesaleSuppliesPlus.com
except the tumblers.)
I'd heat up the candles around 180F. Then at around 170F, I add coloring. Stir. Remove from heat source. Pour into a different container. Cool to 150F. Then add fragrance oil. Stir for 2 minutes. Then I pour to prepared containers at around 125F.
I can always smell the fragrance when the wax is hot or when the candle is cold. But when it's lit, that's a different story. I CANNOT smell anything. This is frustrating.
What did I do wrong?
I have no other problems other than my candles are not smelling anything when they're lit.
When I called the supplier about my candle problem, their answer was that no-smelling soy wax is a common problem and that's one of the characteristics of soy candles. The rep also told me that basically there's nothing I can do about it.
Is this true??? I am really, really dissaponted.
Please help. Any advice/comment would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much in advance.

It could just be a product problem. I used the products from Candlewealth International and the candles always smell very strong. I do not have to let them sit for a week or anything. The product itself is simply amazing!

Do you have a full melt pool when using that size wick? Did you let your candle 'cure' for a week before burning?
