Help!! Trouble with smudging against side & bottom of gl

Hi, My mum has started making soy candles and everything is going well except for when she pours them into a glass, the wax seems to smufge the sides & bottom of the glass. It is sometimes very obvious & other times hardly any at all....She is very frustrated with this and due to her not being able to use a computer i am trying to solve the problem. Can anyone please offer any advice with this......Thanking you in advance

Smudging

G'day,

I too had similar problems when I first started making soy candles. It was suggested to me to melt the wax at about 140 degrees. Let it cool to about 120 degrees before adding fragrances and let it cool further to about 90 degrees before pouring.

When pouring its not a race - pour slower - I have found it helps stick better to the container

It was also suggested to ensure the room you are letting your candles set in is not cold and that the glass container is free from dust.

I hope this helps - let me know how you go ;-)
