I have started making soy wax candles, floaters, tealights, and votives, and will now start making small containers. My buyers love the scents but comment on the wicks, they are not burning like expected. They burn fast and straight down the middle. I have been puchasing zinc core wicks for the floaters and tealights, can someone please help me figure out what wicks I should be using for which type of candle. Thanks dearly, Martha
Wick Selection
I would like to try and answer your question but I need a lot of specifics.
What wax are you using?
What is the size of the container you are trying to wick?
What wick are you having trouble with?
How much FO are you using?
What kind of dye and how much?
All of these will impact how a candle burns.
