I have not made any kind of massage oil and I think making proper massage oil needs that you have many ingredients from which you can create a paste or an oil. I usually visit massage london and they use a variety of oils and treatment procedures to carry out outstanding massage treatment.
Base oils are vegetable oils that are neutral -- scentless and non-reactive in general. The 'seed' oils are the most popular: apricot kernel oil, grapeseed oil and so on. They are far less expensive than the essential oils, so you can buy them in larger bottles. Even olive oil will work in a pinch. Mosaic tables
I have never made a massage oil, but I have mixed some oils for massage use. I tried mixing Efficasent oil with Almond oil the last time I massaged my mom. I believe that you are aware of the wonders that an efficasent oil regarding pain. It helps eases the muscle pains when applied to the skin. According to the az massage clinic website I found, mixing it with almond oil can both soothe the skin while healing the muscle aches.
I have been trying to find instructions to learn to make these as this years christmas project...are there any tips/tricks you could share?
Im not having much luck finding a lot of information online, I've found a basic recipe, but it doesnt include any of the ingredients (coconut oil, cocoa butter etc) that the sites that sell them online tout.
