Hello to all, I have noticed that quite a few are visiting my website from this posting. Would anyone please tell me if there is something wrong with my website that would cause people not to buy from me? A response would be appreciated.
I ordered the Eco Soya PB last night and can't wait for it to get here. I am also glad to hear that the wax will make a white candle. I have one customer that wants white but the 474 wax I was using just did not get white enough for them. I will also check out the wicks you suggested.
I guess the reason I have not gotten much business on my website is the price of marketing. I have found a few free places to advertise and have been putting my business cards in stores and beauty salons so I hope that generates some business. We will do this, and be on the 1st page of google!!!!! :lol: God bless and wish you the best.

I use the "medium" wick from www.thesoyscentational.com
In a 3" pillar it burnes straight down and leaves the sides intact. The lighter colored candles then have a beautiful inner glow as they burn down and no dripping or spills. My customers really like that. I sell a lot of unscented and natural white color for wedding receptions. You might try marketing for weddings...(weddings are BIG Buisness!) I too am new to online sales, I got my start on ebay and still dabble in it a little. There is lots of traffic but the fees were just getting too high. I am going to have to invest in some advertising to bring up me website sales. In the meantime, I will make do with home parties, fairs and craft shows etc..

Thank you for your advise. I sure don't a yellow wax so to candlescience I will go. What size wick do you use? I am trying go get more traffic on my site, it sure is a lot of work but I hope to see a big difference this year when I can add more of a variety on my site. Thanks for the comment of my site. I find that it to be very relaxing when I am working in my candle shop.

I did not try golden brands because the natural color of the wax may be golden and I like to use white wax. The Eco soya pillar blend from www.candlescience.com is white and makes super pillars. Easy to release from an aluminum mold no matter what size. No mold release necessary.
Just make sure they cool S L O W L Y to avoid any cracks.
