Fragrance Oil

Hello,

I don't get a good scent throw. They smell very strong before they are lit. After that - you can't really smell it.

Should you purchase wax, oil and dye from the same vendor or can you mix them? If you can, I really need to find a vendor with strong smelling fragrances. The fragrance is what people LOVE about candles. If you can't make them smell good - then no one will want them.

I plan on making candles to supplement my income plus finding something that I enjoy doing.

Please tell me of a good place for fragrance.

Thank you for your time,
LuvBug :?: :)

NG and Soy

NG is local to me so I use a few of their scents but in my experience, for the best throw, their Joy Wax is fine. In pure soy I have not been thrilled. I did purchase a few scents from ICS and have loved those is soy!

fragrances

I buy most of my scents from http://www.creativeilluminations.com/ I have never found one that didn't work so far. They also have some oils especially formulated for soy wax.

Fragrance Oil

naturegardencandles has dissappointed me on a few fragrances but if your going there Butt Naked and Chanel #5 you won't be dissappointed and neither will your customers. Also make sure your using 1.5 oz. per 16 oz. candle no more than that though (makes candle greasy, streaks, yuck) Oh! one more tip add fragrance just before poring (helps prevent all your fragrance from escaping into never smelling good land) :P Good Luck!

Thanks

I'm sorry it took me so long to get back with you. Thank you very much for your input. Sounds like a lot of great smelling scents.
