I am using Ecosoya Adv wax which looks very nice but I am unable to get a full meltpool with either the Cotton Core wicks from Peak Candles or the ECO wicks from Lonestar. Does anyone have advice about a better wick to use, such as RRD, LX or HTP? Please help, test burning has been miserable! Thank you in advance.
I use the 8oz and 12 oz mason
I use the 8oz and 12 oz mason jars and I use the simple soy 2 for the 8oz jar and simple soy 3 for the 12 oz. These have worked for every single scent and fragrance load I've used. If anything, they burn a little fast, but always a nice big melt pool. I buy the simple soy wicks at http://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com
Good luck
Wicks
I have had good luck with the LX series, CD & CDN series and ECO wicks. I use Ecosoya Xcel (switched from Advanced).
But it depends on the container size and shape as well. Mind sharing the specifics of your test cases?

Wicks
I have tested wicks for over a month, just tried HTP, seem to have a good flame and burn pool. Try going to NGIwax.com they have a lot of instructions and advice for wick sizes and wax.
wicks
I use the RRD wicks with the ecosoya advanced wax. Works great for me and I get an even full melt pool everytime. HTH.
Eco Advanced
Do you have any problems ever with the wax pulling away from the edges? Any suggestions?
wicks
I had this problem before and it was because I wasn't using a large enough wick. I would experiment with wicks sizes. Seems that you always need a bit larger wick then you'd think for a good even melting pool.
