Soy Wax Candle Forum - Online resource for soy candle makers

Debbie and Mark Goodwin live in the area and are happy to introduce their new store. Deb’s Soy Candles and More is a craft store in the Gatlinburg, TN “Arts and Crafts” community on Glades Road. They want to keep up with the times and are going to offer their quality candles on the internet.

Debbie Goodwin has worked in several candle manufacturing companies. She and husband Mark, have decided to put all this experience to work to form their own business. Debbie mixes and pours all her candles using only the best ingredients on site.

Debbie chose to use soybean wax to manufacture her candles. The soy wax used is all natural, renewable, and environmentally safe. The soybeans keep American Farmers working providing this renewable resource.

The candles burn cleaner and smoke less because she uses cotton wicks. This prevents the carbon build-up that causes soot on walls and furniture.

Deb’s Soy Candles and More are listed on the Iowa Soybean Association list of Soy Wax candles. They are also proud members of the
GREAT SMOKY ARTS AND CRAFTS COMMUNITY.

Debbie uses essential oils in her candles. Some essential oils fragrances are thought to enhance moods naturally. Some examples include; lavender which affects contentment, restfulness and self image; lemon enhances concentration, focus, joy and performance; patchouli works on anger, anxiety and positive attitude; and roses influences happiness.

Debbie produces the highly scented candles on site at their craft store at
600 Glades Rd. Suite 7 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
