Cracks

I just started making soy candles. When they are done hardening, right around the wick is cracked in a circle around it. What should I do?

I get the same thing and have yet to correct it...so I just take a heat gun and blast it in that area, that usually fixes the cracks and sink holes around the wick (usually if there is a crack there is probably a sink hole too which if that doesnt get filled it will make your first burn tunnel down the center)
