Has anyone tried the Cargill and/or the Wellington Well Flake Wax? If so, can you tell me if they are comparable or what your experience has been with either?
I have worked with Cargill C3 and really like it. Be sure to melt to high enough temp and pour cool and SLOW. If you don't, you get a hole around the wick. Holds scent well and it clings great to container.
Good luck!
Hi,
I just sent in a question on the Cargill C3. I too love this wax. I works great and I am local to the distributer so no shipping costs. I do have a question. Have you ever had the candles get a chaulky appearence either all over the top or around the edges and wicks? It does not happen all the time and I can't pinpoint the exact cause. Thanks.
How exactly does one "cool a candle slowly?" I know that is a silly question, but I'm not doing massive batches so I don't have a whole shelf of warm candles! Would wrapping it in a box do the trick? I'm having a lot of trouble with sink holes around my wicks!
